RoleCall AI Privacy Policy
Effective: August 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what RoleCall AI collects and how it is used.
Information we collect
We collect account information such as your name, verified phone number, password hash, credits, purchase history, caller-ID verification status, recipients you add, and basic device/session data used for security and abuse prevention. To enforce the one-time starter-credit limit, we also create a server-keyed, non-reversible hash derived from the verified phone number.
Call metadata and audit records
When you start a call, we may store operational metadata such as your account ID, recipient number, recipient name, character, scenario, timestamps, call status, duration, caller ID used, consent confirmations, Terms version, provider call identifiers, refunds, and related troubleshooting information.
No saved call recordings in V1
RoleCall AI V1 does not offer saved call recordings or reaction recordings. Audio and speech may be processed temporarily during an active call so the AI can respond and so live listening can work, but RoleCall AI is not designed to keep a permanent recording for users.
Transcripts and conversation content
During an active AI call, temporary speech text may be used to generate responses and show live call progress. After the call ends, RoleCall AI is designed to keep operational metadata and audit records, not a permanent conversation transcript for the user.
Service providers
RoleCall AI uses communications infrastructure, AI/voice providers, hosting providers, payment platforms, and security tools to operate the service. These providers may process information as needed to deliver calls, generate responses, host the app, verify phone numbers, manage credits, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations.
Legal, safety, and abuse
We may use and preserve information to investigate misuse, enforce the Terms, prevent fraud or abuse, respond to complaints, protect recipients and users, maintain service integrity, or comply with valid legal process.
Account deletion
If you delete your account, RoleCall AI deletes or deactivates account data according to the app's deletion flow, subject to retention needed for security, refunds, audits, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or abuse prevention. The anonymous starter-credit claim hash is retained after deletion so the same verified number cannot repeatedly obtain free credits; it does not store the phone number or remain linked to the deleted account.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no internet or telephone service can be guaranteed completely secure.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as RoleCall AI changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated policy.
Creator Studio data
If you create custom characters or voices, we store the character text, selected voice settings, voice model identifiers, photos, visibility choice, moderation status, and basic metadata needed to provide the feature. Uploaded voice samples are sent to our voice provider to create a reusable voice model. Characters begin private; when you choose Public, the character's public profile, approved profile image, and generated voice become available to other signed-in users in Community. Public images are sent to our safety provider for automated moderation before display.
We may retain records showing that you confirmed rights/permission for uploaded voice samples and custom character content.
External voice/model IDs
If you paste a external voice/model ID, we store that ID with your private character so RoleCall AI can request speech from our voice provider during calls. We do not need your external provider account password or API key for this V1 flow.
Reports, blocks, and safety logs
If a user reports a Community character, hides a creator, submits another abuse report, or an administrator blocks a recipient number, we store the report or block, related account, character, call, or recipient identifiers, timestamps, and administrative notes needed to investigate and prevent misuse. A creator does not receive the identity of a user who reports or hides them.
Administrative review data
Admins may review account identifiers, credit balances, call metadata, custom character counts, reports, and blocked recipient numbers to operate the service, investigate misuse, and manage safety controls.
Support requests and number removal
If you submit a support or remove-number request, we store the information you provide, such as phone number, email, message, request type, status, and timestamp, so we can review and act on the request.
Verification provider
Phone numbers and one-time passcode attempts may be processed by our verification provider to confirm account ownership and protect the service from misuse.
